SERVICES

Packages are available or you can choose services a la carte. Death Doula services are offered at a sliding scale.

Pay anywhere from $30-$70 an hour.

There is no concrete or definitive way to perform end-of-life care. Each individual and their family has specific needs that need to be addressed in different ways. I assist individuals and families in preparing for death with a holistic, non-biased, compassionate approach. Good quality care means that every moment is an evolution that the Doula and family experience together–It is an unfolding. I believe in empowering individuals and families to make choices that best suit their needs, and I will advocate for you every step of the way.

Please schedule a consultation session with me so we can formulate a plan that works best for you.

Death Doula Services

Hearing Needs and Vigil Planning

We will explore together what would bring you or your loved one the most comfort and increase quality of life. This could include, but is not limited to: Legacy work, designing rituals and contacting your church or temple if religious readings and ceremonies are desired. Addressing worries or issues, and potential visualizations that might help. Planning atmosphere and environment. Educate about dying process. Etc.

Conducting Vigil

This begins with active dying and involves presence at bedside. It is here that I hold space for your vigil plan. This can include and is not limited to:

~Guided Meditations/visualizations ~Instructed music, rituals, touch.
~Assistance with physical care.
~Provide rest for family. ~Normalize dying and maintain sacredness.

There is no fee for this service.

Home Funerals

It is 100% completely legal to have your own funeral. Save on cost and plan to stay in the comfort of your own home or anywhere else that feels comfortable for you. This can include choosing music, sacred texts, or pictures that you would like present. This could also include the ceremonial washing of the body, anointing of oils, and shrouding.

Advanced Directives and Living Will

~Providing copies and help in figuring out advanced directives for your state, walking through the documents and answering questions. ~Creating a living will to organize what will be left behind after you or your loved ones death. You can legally prepare your own will, it can even be handwritten. In Montana, your handwritten will must be signed by you. Your signature simply must also be located on any material provisions. Hiring a notary will speed up the probate if necessary.

Housekeeping, Meal Prep, Cooking

Whether its you or a loved one navigating the challenges of illness, keeping up with life can be demanding and overwhelming. If extra help around the household is needed I will be happy to provide housekeeping, help prep meals, or cook you and your family meals.

Caregiver Respite

Its important to take moments of self care, nurturing, and rest. If you need time to breathe, take care of children, eat a warm meal, or do some errands I am happy to keep your loved one company. I am willing to do overnight stays on a case-by-case basis.
